Indication: The L buttress plate is an adaptation of a standard T buttress plate. All holes configurations and plate dimensions are similar to that of the standard T buttress plate, but the head of the plate is shifted either left or right to allow for alternative screw placement. The double bend profile allows fixation on the lateral side of the tibia plateau. Recomended for treatment of tibial head fractures. |
Screws to be used: Head of plate accept 6.5 mm cancellous screws. Plate shaft accepts 4.5 mm cortical screws.
