T-Buttress Plate 4.5 mm

Be the first to review this product

Indication: The T plate is primary used as a buttress plate for medial tibial plateau. It is also used in the distal tibia, medial distal femur and A3 fractures of proximal humerus. It is relatively thin and consequently not as strong as standard self compressing plate. It is designed to be used as a buttress plate in areas of thin metaphysical cortical bone or to prevent the collapsing of any can-cellous defects in that area. It should be bent per-operative to accurately match the counters of the segment of bone to be fixed. An oval hole allows for temporary fixation of the plate prior to final adjustment and fixation.
